Associate/Trip Expert

Job Description: 

A junior associate has a quite extensive scope of work.  You will have a chance to try out different functions within the company before focusing on a path to move up to the senior level.  You will be mainly responsible for assisting senior associates and directors with marketing, sales and service tasks, such as  

  • Creating marketing campaigns, working with graphic designers for marketing material, registering/attending trade shows, emailing newsletters to potential clients,

  • Creating sales proposals and other sales material for schools’ approvals and promotions,

  • Helping clients with their trip planning including optimizing itinerary, budgeting, registration, payments, visa, booking, orientation, Q/A, 

  • Escorting the trip in China occasionally. 

  

Required Skills and Experience: 

At least two years of working experience. You should be familiar with the US K-12 and college education system.  Fluent English communication skills including spoken and business writing.  Advanced Chinese language skills.  Travel experience in China.  Microsoft Office 365. 

  

Preferred Skills and Experience: 

Business or education degree or minor.  Experience in team working online and using a CRM. 

  

Salary:  

$30-40k annually with holidays and vacations.  No health insurance. 

  

Location:  

Boulder, CO for onsite work.  Offsite work is allowed. 

Business Intern

Get real world experience working at a local Boulder company specializing in educational tourism! Real China invites you to learn, build your resume, travel to China, and make some money on the side!   This is also a great opportunity to experience how business is conducted in a small business environment, and practice Mandarin.   

 

Position:  

You would be mentored by the marketing manager and CEO of the company on many different aspects of the business including marketing support, sales support and client service.  Some of the projects you would be taking include analyzing marketing data, marketing research, evaluating CRM systems, drafting newsletters, answering customer questions, trip logistics planning, attending local and national tradeshows, helping visa applications, and possibly escorting trips to China. 

 

Work is mostly done in English, but Mandarin is often used in the office or to talk to clients and vendors.  There is plenty of time to practice Mandarin. 

 

Required skills and experience: 

Juniors or seniors.  Fluent spoken English communication skills, and basic business writing.  Beginner or better Chinese language skill.  Familiar with Microsoft Office.  Knowledge about China. 

 

Preferred skills and experience: 

Marketing, business communication, event organizing, CRM.  Travel experience in China. 

 

Salary: 

No pay to $15/hour depending on experience.  Probation period may apply. 

 

Location:  

Boulder, CO, with travel time across the US and to China 

Client Service Senior Associate

Job Description: 

You will be responsible for serving and maintaining good relationships with our repeating clients.  You will be working either independently or with junior associates to help schools with their trip planning such as creating trip proposals, optimizing itinerary, budgeting, registration, payments, visa, booking, orientation, Q/A.  You will be working with our operation managers in China to make sure trips are run smoothly.  You may need to escort the trip yourself in China occasionally. 

 

Required Skills and Experience: 

At least five years of working experience.  Fluent English communication skills including spoken and professional business writing.  Advanced Chinese language skills.  Travel experience in China.  Microsoft Office 365. Prior client service or customer service experience. 

 

Preferred Skills and Experience: 

Business or education degree or minor.  Experience in team working online and using a CRM. 

 

Salary:  

$35K to $50K annually + commissions, with holidays and vacations.  No health insurance.

Sales Senior Associate

Job Description: 

You will be mainly responsible for selling Real China customized study trip services, to Mandarin classes at K-12 schools and college programs. You are expected to be well connected with your area Mandarin programs and will be contacting potential clients (teachers and directors) to present our services and visit them.  You will create sales proposals and other sales material for schools’ approvals, and help schools promote trips among students and parents. 

 

*We especially welcome candidates from Boston, Chicago, San Francisco, LA, New York and Denver areas to apply but anywhere could be qualified. 

  

Required Skills and Experience:

Sales commission based on the gross profit of accounts.  A small base salary could be paid depending on additional duty of the job.
