Associate/Trip Expert

Job Description: 

A junior associate has a quite extensive scope of work.  You will have a chance to try out different functions within the company before focusing on a path to move up to the senior level.  You will be mainly responsible for assisting senior associates and directors with marketing, sales and service tasks, such as  

  • Creating marketing campaigns, working with graphic designers for marketing material, registering/attending trade shows, emailing newsletters to potential clients,

  • Creating sales proposals and other sales material for schools’ approvals and promotions,

  • Helping clients with their trip planning including optimizing itinerary, budgeting, registration, payments, visa, booking, orientation, Q/A, 

  • Escorting the trip in Asia occasionally. 

  

Required Skills and Experience: 

At least two years of working experience. You should be familiar with the US K-12 and college education system.  Fluent English communication skills including spoken and business writing.  Advanced Chinese language skills.  Travel experience in China.  Microsoft Office 365. 

  

Preferred Skills and Experience: 

Business or education degree or minor.  Experience in team working online and using a CRM. 

  

Salary:  

$35-45k annually with holidays and vacations.  No health insurance. 

  

Location:  

Irvine, CA for onsite work.  Offsite work is allowed. 

Client Service Senior Associate

Job Description: 

You will be responsible for serving and maintaining good relationships with our repeating clients.  You will be working either independently or with junior associates to help schools with their trip planning such as creating trip proposals, optimizing itinerary, budgeting, registration, payments, visa, booking, orientation, Q/A.  You will be working with our operation managers in China to make sure trips are run smoothly.  You may need to escort the trip yourself in China occasionally. 

 

Required Skills and Experience: 

At least five years of working experience.  Fluent English communication skills including spoken and professional business writing.  Advanced Chinese language skills.  Travel experience in China.  Microsoft Office 365. Prior client service or customer service experience in the educational tourism or similar industry.

 

Preferred Skills and Experience: 

Business or education degree or minor.  Experience in team working online and using a CRM. 

 

Salary:  

$40K to $50K annually + commissions (usually $10-30k), with holidays and vacations.  No health insurance.

Business Intern

Learning objectives and goals:

  • experience small business and entrepreneurship,

  • witness global education in a commercial environment,

  • gain knowledge about Asia through working with partners and traveling,

  • practice Mandarin,

  • learn B2B marketing,

  • gain experience in teamwork in a global and cross cultural setting

Position:

You will be mentored by the marketing manager and CEO of the company on many different aspects of the business including product development, marketing support, sales support and client service support.  Some of the projects you could be taking include travel product research, product maintenance, marketing research, organizing marketing material, maintaining CRM data, B2B marketing communications, trip planning, attending tradeshows, and possibly escorting trips to Asia and US/Canada.

 

Work is mostly done in English, but Mandarin is often used in the office or to talk to clients and vendors.

 

Required skills and experience:

Juniors or seniors.  Fluent spoken English communication skills, and basic business writing.  Beginner or better Chinese language skill.  Familiar with Microsoft Office.  Knowledge about Asia.

Salary:

No pay during the first quarter or first semester.  May switch to a paid position afterwards.

Sales Senior Associate

Job Description: 

You will be mainly responsible for selling Real China customized study trip services, to Mandarin classes at K-12 schools and college programs. You are expected to be well connected with your area Mandarin programs and will be contacting potential clients (teachers and directors) to present our services and visit them.  You will create sales proposals and other sales material for schools’ approvals, and help schools promote trips among students and parents. 

 

*We especially welcome candidates from Boston, Chicago, San Francisco, LA, New York and Denver areas to apply but anywhere could be qualified. 

  

Required Skills and Experience: 

At least five years of working experience. Salary:  

Sales commission based on the gross profit of accounts.  A small base salary could be paid depending on additional duty of the job.  Usually $50-$80k annually including commissions.
