Vietnam: A Rising MBA Destination

September 22, 2017

Not Just China: Real China has been organizing business school trips to Vietnam for the past 6 years.

Vietnam, southeast Asia’s rising star, has transformed into an attractive investment destination nowadays. It has also become an area of increasing interest for business schools looking to observe economic growth in its early stage. As companies start to look outside of China for lower labor costs, Vietnam has quickly stepped into this role and offers a unique look into the effects of a quickly developing economy.

In 2017, four business school groups visited Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City (HCMC) with Real China.

Their unique experience included opening Uber App and uncovering motorbike option in Hanoi. It was a really cool experience when eventually picked up by Uber motorbikes! But how about visiting an American run motorbike helmet factory to better understand the transportation industry, see manufacturing in action and learn about the government's role in business?

Also, these groups were impressed by Vietnam’s growing economy with a young vibrant population which has an average age around 27 years.

Here are the most frequent questions we have been asked:

  • What are some of the most cost-efficient hotels to stay in each city?  *Real China inspected 20 hotels in 2017 and we have pictures and comments from our personal inspection for your reference.

  • What would be a good venue choice for an alumni reception dinner?

  • Shall your group stay in the Old Quarter or the French Quarter in Hanoi?

  • Why are my Hanoi and HCMC guide styles so different?

  • What would be a good day excursion outside of HCMC, and a 2-3 day extension tour?

If you would like to get all the answers as well as a trip proposal/quote, please contact us and we are more than happy to share with you our experience.
